My favorite things: Vetrolin! (...and Texas is bipolar)

So we've had all seasons in one day again this week. Went from a hot, sunny (and sticky) 80 something degrees to the-world-is-coming-to-an-end kinda weather and then back to normal like nothing ever happened. But that's nothing new here. But the first time we've seen hail that was golf ball sized and it did some damage on the cars.
This was already half melted when I picked it up

That stuff came down like rain! And pounding hard on the roof, even leaving holes in the soil.

But anyway, this is supposed to be a post about my favorite things - So since it was hot and sunny before this all came (and I didn't expect us to even see any of the storm), I decided to bathe my horse. After he was dry, I rode him for about an hour, with the high humidity in the air, he was sweaty and rolled in the dirt after he was done. He then got soaked completely during the downpour (while the hail was still pea sized - he WAS smart enough to get cover in the stable once it got bigger) and once it was all over THIS is how clean he came out!
Thanks to another one of my favorite horse products! Vetrolin - I usually buy the bigger jug at Smartpak because it's more cost efficient. It doesn't take a lot, just a quick spray down while the horse is still damp and your horse should stay clean for a long time. Any dirt from rolling etc. will brush right out.
